The service is VOIP or Voice over Internet Protocol. Our service uses the SIP standard.

To use it you will require a SIP phone or SIP adapter, which allows you use a normal phone. We can provide these preconfigured for you, check out our VOIP section on our online shop.

For $9 per month you get a SIP line with:

A local number for your area
2000 minutes Free local calling per month
3 cents per minute nationwide calling (rounded to the nearest 5 cents per call)
30 cents per minute for NZ cell phone calling

If you have a Wired Country connection with us, you can dispense with your normal phone line and save over $30 per month in line rental charges.

You can transfer your existing phone number over to our service for a one off porting fee of $20.

You can monitor your usage from our members website http://accounts.ps.gen.nz.
From there you can see your call history and costs right up to your last call.

You can change your SIP phone settings and voice mail settings from our SIP control panel website at http://phone.ps.net.nz
